This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule4x12 hour shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including weekdays and every other weekend. Must be flexible with floating to other units as needed.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at a 70-bed rural facility. The ideal candidate will have expertise in acute care and telemetry, as well as experience in pediatric and adolescent patient care. As the RN, you may float to other units, including ICU, to meet patient care needs. A house supervisor is available for support at all times.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records and charting utilizing Cerner EMR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with a strong background in telemetry.
- Current RN license in West Virginia or a Compact License.
- Certifications:
BCLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred. - Experience in a travel nursing role is not required but is a plus.
