Activity Specialist

Position Overview

Providing unique and enriching vacation experiences for guests through activity delivery and glamping quality.

• Execute, supervise, and provide guidance to a variety of activities offered, not limited to:
  Archery, throwing activities, aerial activities, and fishing appropriate for ages 6+
• Facilitate short tours of property while driving company van
• Assist guests with activity scheduling and creating a seamless experience
• Knowledge experts for on-site hiking trails, local adventures, and attractive family destinations
• Assist the glamping site in housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and lodging
• Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
• Perform additional duties assigned by S  leadership
• Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the S  staff handbook

• Minimum age: 18+
• Preferred:
  Outdoor recreation experience
• Complete USA archery level 1 instructor or BSA archery range master (training provided)
• Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
• Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication

• Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines

• Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn/develop hard and soft skills
• Ability to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgrounds

Salary: $1600 - $1700 per month
