Veterinary Assistant
Location: Kingswood, WV
Schedule: Full-Time | Rotating Saturdays
Pay Range: $15-17 per hour (based on experience)

What You’ll DoAs a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our doctors and technicians while ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Safely restrain pets for exams, treatments, and diagnostics
- Prepare exam rooms and surgical areas
- Assist with laboratory sample collection and processing
- Maintain a clean and organized hospital environment
- Clean and sanitize kennels, equipment, and treatment areas
- Help educate clients on basic preventive care and follow-up instructions
- Provide compassionate care and reassurance to pets and their families
- Veterinary experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
- Passion for animal care and client service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented attitude with a positive work ethic
