Your role:
Grooming Salon Leader.

The Grooming Salon Leader leads salon operations and staff, delivers expert grooming services, and ensures a high level of customer satisfaction. You will coach and develop groomers, drive performance, and maintain a safe, welcoming environment for pets and customers.

• Oversee day‑to‑day salon operations, scheduling, inventory, and staffing.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and coach a grooming team.
• Create efficient grooming schedules to optimize capacity.
• Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and develop action plans.
• Collaborate with store management to achieve sales and salon objectives.
• Serve customers with exceptional service and answer inquiries.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
• Perform professional grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, cutting, styling, nail trimming, ear cleaning, gland cleaning.
• Maintain equipment and sanitation standards.
• Educate pet parents on maintenance and care.
• Monitor pet well‑being and report concerns.
• Adhere to the grooming policies, standards, and guidelines.

• At least 2 years as a professional groomer or completion of a grooming training program.
• Strong leadership skills and 1–2 years of salon management experience preferred.
• High‑school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of dog breeds, grooming, health issues, and behaviors.
• Proficiency in breed‑specific cuts and styling techniques.
• Passion for animals and desire for a grooming career.

• Strong decision making and problem‑solving skills.
• Results‑driven with a focus on salon productivity and growth.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to handle pets of all sizes with care and empathy.
• Available 35+ hours per week, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Work is mostly indoors in the salon, involving bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 30 lb), standing for long periods, and occasional exposure to heights. The environment can be noisy and wet.
