We are looking for a
Quality Manager
that is experienced, detail-oriented to join our growing teamat Eagle Manufacturing in Wellsburg, WV. This position will play a key role inoverallsuccess of our organization. This positionreportsto the Operations Managerbut will beexpectedto work in a team environment with Engineering, Sales, Production, Accounting, Inventory Control and Safety.

Oversees the product quality currently beingmanufacturedon the production floor.

What You’ll Do at Justrite:

  • Will berequiredto compare production drawings topartsin production and advise on discrepancies/possible causes.
  • Responsible for supporting the development ofthe Quality Assurance(QA) manualand other levels of documentation defining the QA system.
  • Working with third party/state inspectorslike FM/UL/TUV to ensure that Justritemaintaincompliancetothe required manufacturing standards.
  • Maintain and advance certifications such as ISO 9001.
  • Creating andmaintainingwork instructionsspecificallyforthequalityprocesses.
  • Work with Customer Service to perform RCCA responses to selected customer complaints.
  • Manage engineering deviations requests to support manufacturing along with helpingidentifyand implement permanent solutions.
  • Work on RCCAwithsupplier quality issuesidentifiedthrough the manufacturing processor sample submissions.

    This includes direct communication with Purchasing and the supplier.
  • Review and approve Supplier PPAP submissions on new or revised purchased parts
  • Initiate and manage requests for engineering changes to resolve quality issues.
  • Supervise/manage/developQA Specialist.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

  • 10-15yrs. experience as a QE in a metal fabrication/welding manufacturing business required.
  • Associates in Engineering Technologyor equivalent experience required.

    ABachelor of Science Engineering preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in working within a formal quality system required.
  • Functional experience with RCCA/A3/8D/etc.methodologiesto achieve continuous improvement.
  • Experience developing preventative quality processes within a lean mfg. environment.
  • Strong senseof curiosity with a proactive entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Strong in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Power BI experience would be considered a plus.
  • Strong communication skills from the shop floor to upper management.
  • Ability to work in noisy environments with hearing protection
  • ERP system experience preferred.
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all time
  • Ability to work in both a manufacturing office and shop floor environment daily.
  • Wear all required PPEincluding:steel toedshoes,safety glasses, and hearing protection.
