Overview
Princess Hotels & Resorts Jamaica is seeking a Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of bakery items and desserts for our guests.
Responsibilities- Prepare a variety of bakery items, including cakes, pastries, breads, and other desserts
- Follow recipes and adjust ingredients according to product specifications
- Monitor and adjust baking temperatures and times to ensure quality and consistency
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including ovens, mixers, and other kitchen machinery
- Ensure all baked items meet health and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a bakery setting
- Knowledge of baking techniques and recipes
- Ability to read and interpret recipes
- Attention to detail and a passion for baking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
