In this role, you will have the opportunity to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales within the designated areas. You will focus on Installed Base penetration and sell the entire Service product portfolio, building long‑term customer relationships and responding to specific customer needs and issues.

This role plays a critical part in facilitating ABB’s business growth and supporting various divisions across India, covering multiple locations and clusters. We are seeking highly motivated and innovative professionals for positions such as Service Sales Specialist, Service Sales Manager, Area Service Sales Manager and Technical Service Specialist.
Accountable Tasks- Penetrate into IB, promoting upgrades, retrofits and value‑add solutions for customers and ABB.
- Understand channel strategy, establish prices, prepare sales plans and propose recovery plans when needed.
- Generate service sales leads and develop new market opportunities by analyzing market trends and identifying potential new service portfolios.
- Act as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings).
- Service Sales
Experience:
5–15 years in Service Sales with product ranges such as:- Substation automation
- PLC / DCS / SCADA
- Analytical products
- Instrumentation (flow, level, transmitter, pressure)
- Excitation systems
- AVR panels
- HT motors
- VFDs and drives
- Large system drives
- LV switch gear (MCC, PCC, MCB, MCCB, PSS)
- MV switch gear (AIS/GIS)
- Building automation systems
- Residential, distribution, and control products
- Industry Exposure:
Strong background working with MV/LV switch gear products and related service offerings. - Service Portfolio Expertise:
Hands‑on experience selling spare parts, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), retrofits, upgrades and preventive maintenance services. - Product Knowledge:
In‑depth knowledge and experience with ABB product portfolio and technical troubleshooting. - Market Understanding:
Strong understanding of the market, including customers and service opportunities. - Educational
Qualification:
Full‑time degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. - Communication
Skills:
Comfortable and effective in professional communication in English.
