Are you the kind of salesperson who builds, not just maintains?

We're a fast-growing U.S. manufacturer of truck-bed equipment & hauling rack systems, and we're looking for a Sales Manager to own and build our entire sales function from the ground up. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity with direct access to ownership and a clear path to build and lead a team as we scale.

You’ll start as the player and grow into the coach — closing deals today, building the playbook for tomorrow.

What you’ll do
  • Own the full sales cycle — outbound prospecting, negotiation, closing & follow-up
  • Open new markets and chase larger B2B accounts, dealers & distributors
  • Handle inbound inquiries (phone, email, web) and close orders during ramp-up
  • Build a repeatable sales process & implement a CRM where little exists today
  • Grow and nurture relationships with existing customers and our dealer network
  • Represent us at trade shows and bring the energy
What we’re looking for
  • A true hunter + farmer — comfortable opening doors AND keeping clients warm
  • Experience opening new markets & winning new business (not just inheriting accounts)
  • Background selling B2B in industries like trailers, equipment, manufacturing, construction, landscaping or power/lawn equipment
  • Self-motivated & highly independent — you thrive with low oversight and take the reins
  • Solutions-driven with a client-first mindset — you solve problems, you don’t pass them off
  • Tech-comfortable — at ease with digital tools, invoicing & CRMs
  • Authentic, relatable & high-energy — you connect with tradespeople and business owners (no high-pressure "car-salesman" vibes)
  • Build something from scratch and make it yours
  • High autonomy + direct line to the owners
  • Strong earning upside tied to clear, attainable goals
  • A clear path to build and lead a sales team as we grow
