Position: Account Manager.

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:30
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 basic up to £5,000 bonus pension

The role

This is a key position within the commercial and operations team, responsible for managing and developing existing customer relationships while also supporting new business activity.

You will act as a key point of contact for clients, helping to deliver a high level of service while ensuring commercial opportunities are maximised.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
  • Prepare and calculate quotations
  • Support account growth and identify new opportunities within existing clients
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to build competitive pricing
  • Attend client meetings (where required)
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and KPI data
  • Provide a high level of customer service and communication at all times
Experience required
  • Strong B2B sales or customer service experience
  • Confidence handling customer and supplier negotiations
  • Experience managing or developing client relationships
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point
