Outside Sales Account Manager - Industrial Supply​/Mining

Account Manager (Field / Outside Sales)

Promote and facilitate the sale of industrial supplies to core and target accounts within the Shinnston, WV metropolitan area.

• HS Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree preferred (business, marketing, sales, mechanical, engineering or similar field)
• 1+ years of industrial outside sales experience required
• Preferred product experience: hydraulic hose and fittings, industrial hose, safety products (gas detection, breathing apparatus, safety MRO), general MRO, lubricants, filtration electrical products, wire and cable, communication products
• Experience selling to mining customers is a plus
• Track record of progressive sales accomplishments
• Clear & concise verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to learn a CRM
• Valid driver's license
• May require overnight travel

• Market planning and research to identify opportunities with core and target accounts in each territory
• Collaborate with branch managers and other company personnel to promote product lines to core and target accounts
• Develop action plans for each territory to capture a major share of core and target business
• Call upon and visit customer sites daily to assess needs, take orders, promote product offerings, and foster good relationships
• Coordinate with Inventory Control regarding stock levels and obsolete inventory
