Account Manager

Shift Pattern

Monday – Thursday 08:00 – 17:00 and Friday 08:00 – 15:00

Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their fast-paced manufacturing company as an Account Manager. Our client, a specialist in manufacturing and powder coating steel components to the POS/ shop fit / Retail sectors, is seeking an individual to strengthen their Sales Team to assist with delivering a seamless service to their client base.

The successful individual will be tenacious, confident, resilient and a go-getter with the ability to use their own initiative to meet set KPI’s, targets and SLA’s.

• First point of contact for the customer, discuss their order in detail, recording the quotation accurately and ensuring attention to detail at all times
• Discuss options available to the customer (material, size, services)
• Estimating and quoting from initial to concept to design, leaving site
• Present the quote to the customer and secure the order
• Project manage each order to ensure the client is satisfied with the service received
• Attend regular meetings with the Head of Departments to ensure they are fully briefed on new projects and gain an update on the progress of current orders
• Resolve complaints and handle any enquiries that come in

• Knowledge in the POS/POP industry is advantageous, however, not essential
• Proficient in all Microsoft packages
• A sound knowledge of POS / Retail industry, including the metalworking process
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at various levels
• Proactive individual who uses own initiative
• Highly organised and able to drive projects forward to completion
• Resilient and capable of resolving complaints in a professional manner
• Enthusiastic, motivated and driven to succeed
• Experience in Project Management would be advantageous; however, it is not essential
