External Wholesaler

Company Description Liberty One Investment Management, LLC (LOIM) is an SEC-registered investment advisor focused on creating and promoting thoughtful, easy-to-use investment allocations for financial advisors and their clients. The firm was founded out of a high-producing retail practice that built its own strategies when existing mutual funds, ETFs, and asset managers did not meet its needs. After proving successful internally, these strategies were made available to other advisors, emphasizing practical solutions and risk-aware portfolio construction.

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an External Wholesaler at Liberty One Investment Management. The External Wholesaler will build and maintain relationships with financial advisors and other distribution partners, presenting LOIM strategies and supporting them in positioning these solutions with advisors. Day-to-day responsibilities include scheduling and conducting virtual and in-person meetings, delivering product presentations, and providing ongoing consultative support and market insights.

The role also involves developing territory business plans, tracking sales activity and pipeline, and collaborating with internal teams on marketing initiatives and client communication. The External Wholesaler is expected to work proactively to grow assets under management while adhering to all regulatory, compliance, and firm guidelines.

1/3 of time will be spent traveling within territory or industry conferences outside of territory.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Business Planning and Sales to effectively develop territories, set targets, and drive new and existing advisor relationships.
• Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Investments to clearly explain LOIM strategies, market concepts, and portfolio construction to financial advisors.
• Candidates should possess skills in Wholesale and external distribution to manage channels, present products, and support advisors across diverse markets.
• Relevant qualifications include experience in financial services or asset management distribution, preferably in an external wholesaler or similar sales role.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include strong communication and presentation skills, a data-driven approach to territory management, and high proficiency with CRM and virtual meeting tools.
• Appropriate securities licenses (such as FINRA Series 7 and 66 or equivalents) and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field are strongly preferred.
