Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM w/ Overtime Expected
Field TechnicianCompensation: $15.00 per hour
HoursMonday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with regular OT.
The salary for this position reflects a variety of factors. What You'll Do- Travel to customer and environmental testing sites
- Collect, process and test environmental samples, including air, soil, water, and related media
- Perform field services using standard environmental support practices, including sample collection, test kit completion, and documentation of results
- Pick up, transport, and deliver samples, documents, materials, and results as required
- Prepare vehicles for daily field operations, including instruments, supplies, kits, materials, documentation, and safety equipment
- Complete and maintain logs, forms, databases, and other documentation accurately and timely
- Assist with research and recommendations to resolve operational, customer, or employee issues
- Support the review and implementation of field/environmental programs to meet operational and organizational needs
- Assist with ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations; elevate issues when needed
- Contribute to team effectiveness by offering suggestions for improvements
- Promote Pace Analytical's mission through professional, courteous, and cooperative interactions with customers and coworkers
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in related work preferred, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- One year of experience in a laboratory or environmental setting is preferred
- The ability to travel with some overnight stays
- Valid driver's license
- Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining all required licenses and certifications in active status
