PIPEFITTER/WELDER - Rate of pay is $47.22/hr.

This position requires a journeyman card or completion of a formal apprentice program or an equivalent number of years of education and/or experience. Applicants must have certification or be able to obtain certification in ASME Code IX weld tests on ferrous and nonferrous metals and must be able to perform critical X-ray welds in the field or shop setting on all types of carbon steel and different types of alloys using the following processes: SMAW, GTAW, GMAW and GMAC/FCAW.

Must be able to read, layout, and fabricate from blueprints. Must be able to create sketches, measure and fabricate replacement pipelines. Must be able to fabricate and install thread piping, PVC/CPVC piping, and structural steel.

All new Journeyman positions require candidates to qualify for a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
