JOB SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, the Electrician repairs, maintains, and performs preventative electrical repairs on plant machinery and buildings.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- HVAC, Welder, Electrical Component, Air Compressor, and Basic Industrial Equipment Repair.
- HVAC, Welder, PLC, and Electrical Component Diagnosis.
- Read and Draw Wire Schematics.
- Identification of Part Numbers
- Computer Diagnostic of Equipment
- Basic Fabrication and Mobile
- Repairs electrical problems on buildings.
- Repairs electrical problems on machinery.
- Performs other mechanical maintenance.
- Identify and report any unsafe working conditions or equipment.
- Follows all OSHA safety requirements, work rules and instructions, ISO procedures, job safety analysis (JSAs) and company policies and promotes a safe culture.
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Other duties as assigned.

WORK HOURS/SHIFT:
- Work hours vary or change based on operational needs.
- Must be able to work on Saturdays and overtime as required.
EDUCATION/
EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ELECTRICIAN I – this level of Electrician is responsible for learning all the Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities involved in the Electrician I position under close Supervision. Individuals in this position must be able to do meter diagnostic, HVAC repair, welder repair, read and draw wire schematics, electrical component repair, bending conduit, wire calculations, basic fabrication, basic mobile, and have the recommended electrical, crane, forklift, and arc flash training certification(s).
ELECTRICIAN II – this level of Electrician is responsible for performing all duties described for an Electrician I satisfactorily with limited Supervision. The qualifications and experience of this level of Electrician must be at an intermediate level. As additional work experience is gained, the employee may be assigned to tasks that are more difficult in nature and require more responsibility which include HVAC diagnosis, welder diagnosis, electrical component diagnosis, identification of part numbers, air compressor repair, crane inspection, basic industrial equipment repair, and have the recommended hydraulic, welder equipment repair, blueprint certification and confined space advanced course certification(s).

- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
