Pay Rate: $27.73 - $50.53 per hour, depending on experience and classification

We are seeking skilled and dependable carpenters with concrete formwork experience to join the UBC Carpenters Union local 527
. The ideal candidate will work on a major infrastructure facility in the community,
the John Hart Dam
.

• Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of carpentry, concrete formwork (Peri Experience preferred)
• Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
• Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
• Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
• Knowledge of welding techniques is a plus
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
