Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining control and power systems for motor driven conveyor belts, pumps, air compressors, locomotives, and winch systems. Electricians are also responsible for preventive maintenance for all electrical systems. Electricians must have MSHA electrical certification. They must be able to use a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, and electrical measurement devices. Must be able to use programmable logic controllers and associated software as a troubleshooting tool.
Must possess the ability solve a wide variety of problems using a logical and analytical approach. Ensures proper training and various electrical certifications are maintained (State, OSHA, MSHA) for electrical crew.
