Working Hours:
Varied;
Normally 8:00AM to 4:30PM, but will vary dependent upon work assignments and hotel needs.
Past Work Experience Requirements:
Journeyman skill level to consist of accepted 4 year apprentice program with classroom time and 8000 worked hours or experience and technical skills equal to the apprenticeship from working in the trade for a number of years.
Educational Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Communication Skills Requirements:
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Technical Requirements:
Valid West Virginia Driver's License. Any special skills a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Lifting up to 70 pounds regularly. Walking. Standing. Climbing ladders, scaffolding, stairs continuously. Ability to work in confined spaces.
Work Conditions:
Hot. Cold. Dirty. Wet. Long hours. Confined spaces. Working in high places and on scaffolding.
Required Supervision:
Ability to follow specific general instructions. Independent decision making skills required. Ability to work independently.
Other Requirements:
Scaffolding erection. Overtime required. Requirements subject to change.
