HVAC Technician - Residential Install

Full Time Field Employees Bradley, WV, US

Salary Range: $45,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

The HVAC Installation Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment in both residential and commercial environments. This position will inspect the effectiveness and safety of the system, and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing extraordinary customer service.

• Perform other duties as requested

• Meet with customers in their homes and assess the customer’s needs
• Offer solutions that are beneficial for the customer and the company while striving for customer satisfaction
• Follow standard processes for maintaining HVAC systems
• Complete sales services using protective measures to keep customer’s home clean and undamaged

• Proficient in cleaning and maintaining an HVAC system
• Ability to complete simple low voltage connections on furnaces, air handlers, and air conditioners
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees, verbally and in writing
• Ability to follow safety standards
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
• Ability to multi‑task
• Regular and reliable attendance

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

• Any air conditioning certifications

• Operate tablet, mobile phone, and other field equipment as needed
• Read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
• Lift/carry up to 100 lbs repeatedly during work hours
• Climb up and down ladders and/or step stools repeatedly during work hours
• Sit/stand for long periods of time during work hours
• Work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc.
• Work in a wide range of temperatures (indoor/outdoor)
• Travel up to 75% of the time between job sites and customer locations
• Perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
