Position: 91C Utilities Equipment Repairer
Location: Millwood

Job Description

If you’re interested in a maintenance career, join the Army National Guard as a Utilities Equipment Repairer and help keep operations running smoothly on and off the battlefield.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain, test, and repair utilities equipment and special‑purpose support systems, including electric motors, electric instruments, and gasoline engine systems.
  • Inspect and repair electrical equipment such as air conditioner units, refrigeration units, portable heater fuel systems, fire extinguisher recharging systems, and valve systems.
  • Replace worn gaskets, perform sealing in watertight electrical equipment, and perform routine maintenance on gas and air conditioning systems.
  • Apply troubleshooting and repair techniques to keep operational readiness.

Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career in any industry that uses equipment powered with electrical motors, including hospitals, manufacturing firms, and governmental agencies. With additional certification, you could pursue self‑employment as an electrical tool, motor, and equipment repairer.

Qualifications
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard required.

  • Meeting citizenship requirements.
