Maintenance Electrician

We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Electrician for a 6-month fixed-term contract at a high-hazard industrial site in Wilton, Redcar.

This role is essential in supporting safe and compliant electrical operations within ATEX-classified hazardous areas .

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out ATEX inspections and remedial works
• Electrical maintenance routines: emergency lighting, fire alarms, earthing, PAT testing
• Motor and drive disconnection/reconnection and inspections
• Fault finding across single and three-phase electrical systems
• Assisting with minor installations and site projects
• Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship, ideally qualified to HNC/NVQ 3 Level
• Valid ATEX certification (Gas minimum, Dust preferable)
• Previous industrial maintenance experience in hazardous or COMAH environments
• Strong understanding of electrical testing, safety procedures, and compliance
