Road Mechanic

Road mechanic/technician role performs preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to avoid downtime. The fleet includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, large‑scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas equipment.

• Work on a variety of makes, models, and equipment in challenging remote locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment.
• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management.
• Work with a safety‑focused team.

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3‑5 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty line equipment (large‑scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age; CDL license may be required in some locations).
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• May need to provide mechanic's tools of trade.
• Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs.

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required. Reasonable accommodations may be made in compliance with applicable laws.

Base Pay Range: $27.65 - 38.02 per hour. Starting rate may vary based on factors including position, location, education, training, and experience.
