We're looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. If you have strong mechanical, electrical, and maintenance troubleshooting skills and enjoy solving complex equipment issues, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment failures.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, work orders, and technical specifications
. - Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
- Install, relocate, and align manufacturing equipment, including:
- Lathes
- Milling machines
- Drill presses
- Grinders
- Saws
- Welders
- Auxiliary production equipment
- Disassemble, repair, fabricate, rebuild, test, and reassemble machine components.
- Perform welding, fabrication, machining, and minor building repairs as needed.
- Maintain facility systems including electrical wiring, plumbing, heating, and ventilation equipment.
- Fabricate machine guards, storage racks, stands, and replacement parts.
- Complete maintenance documentation, work orders, production records, and job cost tracking accurately.
- Identify equipment issues and communicate repair recommendations to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety standards.
- Follow ISO 9001 quality procedures
, maintenance work instructions, and standard operating procedures. - Support continuous improvement and perform other maintenance duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- At least 2 years experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, machine repair, or mechanical maintenance
. - Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Experience using maintenance tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to operate a computer or laptop for equipment diagnostics and maintenance documentation.
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
