Overview
Litman Excavating is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with proven experience in sewer line installation to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in underground utility work, a strong safety record, and proficiency in operating a variety of heavy machinery including excavators, backhoes, and trenchers.
Responsibilities- Operate heavy equipment to excavate, grade, and backfill trenches for sewer line installations.
- Safely and efficiently install new sewer systems, including manholes, piping, and fittings.
- Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and utility layouts.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Coordinate with ground crew to ensure proper line grades, slopes, and pipe placement.
- Adhere to safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure job completion within deadlines.
