🔐 NOW HIRING: SENIOR PHYSICAL SECURITY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN 📍 Parkersburg, WV Area | Field Position 💰 $25–$35/hour, based on experience & licensing 🕐 Full-Time | Hourly Parkersburg Mancan is partnering with a local company seeking an experienced Senior Physical Security Systems Technician to serve as a Lead Installer on commercial security projects. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who can lead complex installations, troubleshoot advanced systems, mentor junior technicians, and ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
🛠️ RESPONSIBILITIES Lead installation, programming, and commissioning of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and low-voltage systems Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolve technical issues Plan, install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling Read blueprints, schematics, riser diagrams, and project specifications Serve as the on-site technical lead and ensure quality and code compliance Train and mentor junior technicians Coordinate with project managers, customers, contractors, and other trades Maintain tools, equipment, vehicles, and inventory Follow all safety procedures and NEC requirements ✅ REQUIREMENTS Active Alarm, Electrical (ELE), or Low Voltage license required 3–5 years of physical security/low-voltage installation experience Advanced knowledge of access control and low-voltage systems Familiarity with NEC requirements Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment Ability to work on ladders and lifts and lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma/GED Valid driver's license and clean driving record Preferred: NICET or manufacturer certifications, IP networking knowledge, and additional electrical/alarm/low-voltage licenses. 🚗 TRAVEL & PERKS Weekly travel to job sites Per diem provided Hotel/lodging covered by the company Some projects may follow a 14-days-on / 7-days-off rotation Ready to take your security systems career to the next level?
