CDL A Flatbed Driver | $26 hr Plus OT | Bruceton Mills, WVTrans Force is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local operations based in Bruceton Mills, WV. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
CDL A Flatbed Driver Details
- Schedule:
Mon-Fri (occasional Saturday), 6 am start time, 8- 14-hour shifts, home daily - Pay: $26/hr + OT
- Route Type:
Local, 2-3 stops within a 100-mile radius - Freight / Load Type:
Delivering palletized mulch, rock, and soil - Equipment:
Automatic and Manual trucks are available at the request of the driver - Handling:
No Touch, only strapping. The truck is loaded and unloaded for the driver
- License: CDL A
- Experience:
2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience - Equipment
Experience:
2 years of flatbed experience required - Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate equipment on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping
