Position Title:
Shop Foreman
2.0 Nature & Objective:
Maintain equipment for safe operation in accordance with applicable DOT rules and regulations.
Working environment in office and on shop floor.
Minimal travel as needed.
3.0
Reports to:
Regional Maintenance Supervisor- for maintenance
Terminal Manager - for daily operations
4.0 Position
Qualifications:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Maintenance and Repair.
* CDL/A preferred
* DOT Tanker maintenance experience preferred
* Good communication and organizational skills
* Good computer skills (Microsoft office)
* Strong analytical and problem- solving skills
5.0 Responsibilities include the following:
* Responsible for overall shop and terminal compliance of applicable State, Local, and Federal regulations.
* Responsible for condition of terminal rolling stock.
* Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and professional work environment.
* Supervise maintenance mechanics at multiple trucking terminals.
* Ensure proper PPE for maintenance personnel.
* Keep track of maintenance needs via computer systems.
