Truck Driver- Night Shift

Description

Driver will be primarily responsible for operating tri-axle dump truck and hauling water in support of various oil and gas and construction needs. Hauling drill cuttings and loose materials, such as sand, and other aggregates, various dirt and construction debris.

• Hauling loose materials in a supportive role to the oil and gas and construction industry.
• Must be able to operate trucks safely while navigating through various types of off-road terrain.
• Knowledge and ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle always ensuring safe transportation of cargo.
• Knowledge and ability to fill out log books and company documentation in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements.
• Properly maintain the assigned vehicle and report damage or faulty equipment promptly.
• Wear PPE appropriately at all times.

• Must have and be able to maintain a federal DOT physical.
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screening and random screenings.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of the mechanics essential to truck operations.
• Pre-trip, and Post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Ability to work overtime as needed/required, as well as availability for call-out.
• Possess the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Ability to provide information to supervisor and coworkers by written, electronic communications i.e. email and text as well as articulate in person.
• Basic heavy equipment knowledge a plus.
• Ability to lift/push 70 lbs. max.
• Willingness and ability to climb in and out of truck beds as well as walking or standing for prolonged periods.

• General DOT requirement knowledge.
• Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience with clean driving record.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
