Reach Forklift Driver

Driver Hire is seeking an experienced Reach FLT Driver/ warehouse operative to fill a permanent vacancy for our client based in Horncastle.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient handling of goods and maintaining a safe working environment.

This position is a 13 week temp to perm, on the 14th week you will be working directly full time for our client.

• Monday to Friday work
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load and unload materials from lorries and storage areas.
• General warehouse duties
• Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklift equipment, reporting any mechanical issues or necessary repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the warehouse.

• Personal transport
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic maths skills for inventory management.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing stock levels.
• Able to manually handle items as and when required.

The pay rate of the Reach truck forklift driver will be £13.50 per hour and £18.00 per hour overtime after 40 hours per week. Payment is weekly on a PAYE basis.

This position is commutable from Lincoln, Horncastle, Louth, Boston, Skegness, and Market Rasen.
