Position Title

Bus Operator for Tri-County (as needed)

Transportation Director/Supervisor of Transportation

• State Certified Bus Operator
• Hold or ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License with P & S endorsements
• Completed the 40 hours of classroom training & driving requirements
• Hold or ability to obtain a First Aid Card
• Pass state mandated written test and state mandated driving test;
  Department of Motor Vehicles check
• Completed and approved ability to pass physical as required for WV school bus operators; ability to lift 50 lbs
• Other as outlined in the Handbook for School Bus Drivers

As needed for the 2026/2027 school year. Responsible for picking up students at 11:15 a.m. at Philip Barbour High School and transporting them to Fred Eberle Technical Center, remaining at Fred Eberle Technical Center until returning students to Philip Barbour High School at 2:55 p.m. (Including pre and post trip as needed). The Bus Operator must be available to meet the time constraints of the posting without adjustment to any other extracurricular or regular run.
