We are currently recruiting experienced Dozer Operators to join our growing team.
Candidates should demonstrate a history of skilled experience operating a GPS equipped Dozer for road construction, running grade, cutting slope, stockpiling, finished grading, working in all types of ground conditions, performing successive passes over working area observing reference grade stakes or hand signals to specified grades, drawing & grade stake reading, and requiring limited supervision and direction.
What we offer:
- $35 - $42 per hour, based on experience

General
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work safely in a mining or civil construction environment following company procedures and policies
- Daily 360° inspection of all equipment for operational and safety checks
- Pre-inspection of equipment includes checking all fluid level and ensuring they are topped up as needed
- Accurately complete all work reports and maintenance logs as required
- Follow equipment maintenance schedule and advise if repair is required
- Regularly perform safety inspection of equipment and tools
- Support operations through manual labour, including shoveling, operating powered equipment, loading and unloading of miscellaneous supplies and equipment, light maintenance, and other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Ability to complete mandatory internet-based Orientation and Indoctrination training and certification
- Must be able to successfully pass a mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Class 5 Driver’s Licence and ability to provide a clean Drivers Abstract
- Operates safely with care and attention to the equipment, the jobsite and the crew
- 3 plus years’ experience operating a CAT Dozer
- Familiar with Field Level Hazard Assessment
- Willingness to step out of the cab and perform labour tasks if and when required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strict attention and compliance with equipment cleanliness, maintenance and completing logs
- Experience on other equipment is an asset
- Mining experience an asset
- Reliable transportation
Location: This position is based out of the Kamloops / Thompson area of British Columbia. This is not a camp position; employees provide their own transportation to/from the job site.
