Job Description:
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality control. Responsibilities and required qualifications may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.
- Receive and process incoming stock/product and prepare merchandise for storage or shipment
- Transfer products and merchandise to and from the warehouse
- Receive products, check for quality and damage, and store delivered items properly
- Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Perform physical inventory as needed
- Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures
- Ensure security of company assets
- Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Basic math and counting skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing. Uniforms and/or use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required.
