Your role at Clorox:The Shipping Warehouse Systems Operator (WSO) plays a critical leadership role in the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Ridgeley warehouse and shipping functions. Working within a self-managed environment, the WSO provides day-to-day leadership, drives operational excellence, supports inventory accuracy, and ensures the seamless movement of finished goods from production to customer delivery.

What we look forKey Responsibilities Operational Leadership
- Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to Shipping SRO team members, ensuring work assignments, priorities, and expectations are clearly communicated.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Coordinate daily warehouse and shipping activities to ensure efficient operations and timely customer shipments.
- Ensure housekeeping and workplace organization standards are consistently maintained.
- Support employee development by ensuring training requirements and qualifications are completed and maintained.
- Oversee warehouse product placement, material flow, dock activity, and trailer scheduling to maximize efficiency and safety.
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and deployment of finished goods inventory.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for carriers and transportation partners, resolving shipping, documentation, and freight-related issues.
- Support truck loading operations, placarding activities, and shipment preparation as needed.
- Ensure shipping documentation and regulatory requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain ownership of finished goods inventory accuracy and warehouse inventory processes.
- Manage cycle counts, annual physical inventories, and reconciliation activities while investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Verify production postings, packaging reports, inventory movements, and customer deployment activities.
- Utilize SAP S/4
HANA and other business systems to execute inventory transactions, shipping activities, reporting, and data analysis.
- Apply root cause analysis and critical-thinking skills to resolve shipping, warehouse, inventory, and process-related issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve safety, productivity, inventory accuracy, service levels, and operational performance.
- Support troubleshooting efforts involving warehouse equipment, transportation systems, facility systems, and fire protection equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, employee engagement, and process optimization.
- Champion safe work practices and proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and site safety standards.
- Maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and role-specific training requirements.
- Promote a culture where safety is a core value and shared responsibility across the organization.
- Leadership experience in warehouse, shipping, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong inventory management and warehouse control experience.
- Working knowledge of SAP S/4
HANA, ERP systems, or warehouse management systems. - Experience conducting root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, prioritize work, and drive operational results.
- Mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude with the ability to support operational equipment issues.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Maintains a safe and compliant warehouse environment.
- Delivers accurate inventory and shipping execution.
- Develops and supports high-performing team members.
- Uses data and systems to make informed operational decisions.
