Tax Manager

• Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and entities (S and C corporations, partnerships, LLCs, trusts, etc.).
• Research tax issues and interpret tax laws and regulations to determine optimal client solutions.
• Collaborate with Tax Staff, Seniors, Supervisors, Managers, and Partners on the preparation of reports, presentations, and other tax-related documents.
• Participate in firm-wide initiatives such as internal process improvement and training programs.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients while maintaining and building both existing and new relationships.

• Minimum of 6 years of federal and state income tax preparation and review experience in public accounting for S and C corporations, partnerships, multi-state returns, high net worth individuals, and trusts.
• Experience with tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners.
• Track record of training, developing, supervising, and mentoring staff while managing multiple engagements and client relationships across a variety of industries simultaneously.
• Desire to take on additional responsibilities and become a Partner.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA license required (MST degree preferred).
