Tax Manager / Auditor (CPA)

Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year.

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned professional in tax management and auditing to join our growing team. This role thrives in a fast‑paced environment and focuses on navigating complex tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all tax operations within the organization while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
  • Conduct thorough audits of financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy and conformity with established accounting standards and legal requirements.
  • Provide strategic tax planning advice and guidance to the management team, including identifying potential tax advantages and minimizing tax risks.
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns, reports, and other financial documents related to real estate tax.
  • Liaise with tax authorities and represent the company during tax audits and disputes.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the organization’s tax policies and procedures remain up‑to‑date.
  • Train and mentor junior tax staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to provide financial analysis and support for business decisions.
  • Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in tax management and auditing, with a focus on real estate tax.
  • In‑depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting procedures related to real estate.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non‑finance professionals.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism and commitment to ethical business practices.
  • Proficiency in using tax software and other financial management tools.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is preferred.
