Office Assistant
We are looking for an organized Office Assistant to support daily administrative and front-desk operations in New Jersey. This long-term contract position is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing incoming calls, handling document processing, and keeping office tasks running smoothly. The role requires strong attention to detail, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to balance receptionist and clerical responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and provide courteous front-desk support while helping maintain an efficient office environment.
- Manage inbound phone calls, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and relay messages accurately.
- Scan, organize, and maintain documents so records remain accessible and properly filed.
- Perform a range of administrative tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and general office support.
- Prepare correspondence and bulk communications using mail merge tools when needed.
- Sort, file, and retrieve paperwork to support daily business operations and recordkeeping.
- Assemble outgoing mailings, including preparing and stuffing envelopes for distribution.
