Fishing Camp Teacher (NJ Day Camps)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individual to work as a Fishing Camp teacher with our NJ based day camps.

Position Details:

• Duration: 2 weeks of Fishing Camp (6/29 – 7/2 and 7/20 – 7/24)
• Schedule:
  
  9 am – 4 pm
• Camp departs daily from Mercer County Community College
• Lead a group of up to 15 students independently
• Manage and organize equipment and materials, including paid prep time before and after classes

Compensation: $25 per hour

• Plan and facilitate engaging fishing activities for children aged 7–14.
• Ensure safety and supervision of all campers.
• Prepare materials and set up camp equipment.
• Report daily progress and incidents to camp leadership.

• Teaching or student‑teaching experience in K‑12 schools strongly preferred.
• Experience working with children in a camp or educational setting.
• Comfortable leading a group of up to 15 students independently.
• Organizational skills to manage equipment and prep time.
