STEM and Technology Summer Camp Tacher

Job Overview

Lead Instructor for summer enrichment programs (4–10 weeks) starting in June. Lead in‑room classes for children ages 6–11 or 8–14. Minimum of 4 weeks, Monday through Friday. Pay for training provided.

• Lead a class of up to 12 students solo and up to 25 with an assistant in a classroom setting.
• Manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed for various classes.
• Conduct technology‑based lessons in subjects such as Minecraft, game creation, movie making, animation, robotics, 3D modeling, STEM, leadership, and cooking.
• Ensure a safe, engaging learning environment for all students.

• 21 years of age or older.
• College graduate with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology, or related field, or significant relevant work experience. Graduating seniors with student‑teaching experience encouraged.
• Experience teaching children is not required, but ideal candidates have some experience with kids in a formal or informal setting.
• Strong technology skills (3D modeling, coding, game creation or design, animation, robotics, video editing, digital arts, competitive gaming, significant knowledge of Minecraft or Roblox).
• Located within driving distance of a partner region and has reliable transportation.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; no accommodations or work sponsorship available.
• Available to begin online training in May, prior to the summer program.

Rate: $20/hr – $24/hr depending on experience, location, and availability.
