Salary range: $55K to $86K/year based on experience.

Work Schedule:

Mon-Thurs 1pm to 9pm, Friday 9am to 5pm.

Description:

The Therapist is responsible for performing client care activities as directed by the attending physician, Medical Director, Executive Director, and Clinical Director.

They will provide group therapy as ordered by the Clinical Director.

Collaborates with the Treatment Team in the formulation of the Master Treatment Plan and assists in coordinating discharge planning.

Qualifications

Required:

Ideal candidates will have prior clinical experience in an outpatient mental health program covering attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).Masters degree required.

The ability to pass a background check and drug test is required.

Current CPR card (we can help you obtain this or recertify once you start).Candidates must have a masters level clinical license valid in the State of New Jersey, which can include:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Licensed Social Worker (LSW)

Extended job description:

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY TO POSITION Actively participate in Interdisciplinary Treatment Plan meetings.

Share pertinent information with the team as obtained from the client's family, or others as indicated throughout the program.

Attend daily and weekly staff meetings according to the schedule.

Evaluate the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu

Facilitate group therapy.

Perform individual therapy with client/family.

Document the assessment of client progress/regress and interventions provided in the medical record, on an ongoing basis.

Recognize, respond to and assist in psychiatric crisis situations and provide the necessary intervention.

Respond and assist in medical emergency situations as directed and needed.

Communicate effectively with clients, staff and physicians.

Provide clients with education and instruction on Advance Directives.

Attend and participate in monthly Program Staff meetings as scheduled.

Adhere to policies and procedures.

Perform other duties assigned.
