Plumbing Inspector - West Windsor Township.
Is seeking a full-time Plumbing Inspector/ Under the general direction of the Plumbing Sub-code Official, the Plumbing Inspector performs plumbing inspection work involved to enforce relevant public health laws within the jurisdiction. Inspects for conformance with the approved plans and the current adopted codes. Responsibilities include daily inspections of all plumbing work, gas installations, mechanical systems and storm drainage systems to enforce relevant public health laws and current adopted codes;
receive and examine plans for code compliance. Determine the cause of violations and cite applicable laws/codes so that corrective action can be taken.
Qualifications:
Possession of a valid IC S (Industrial/Commercial Specialist) license as a Plumbing Inspector issued by the NJ Department of Community Affairs. HHS preferred. Possession of a valid NJ State Driver’s license in good standing. Benefits:
