Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to important financial processes and ensure accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will assist with various accounting tasks, including handling invoices, data management, and supporting financial operations.

Responsibilities:

- Process and review invoices to ensure timely and accurate payments.

- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

- Perform data entry tasks to maintain precise financial records.

- Utilize Quick Books for accounting and financial tracking purposes.

- Support the team in resolving discrepancies and addressing financial queries.

- Manage data extraction and reporting to support critical accounting functions.

- Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing financial operations.

- Collaborate with colleagues to address backlogs and streamline accounting processes.

- Maintain organized records to ensure compliance with company standards. Requirements - Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

- Proficiency in Quick Books and familiarity with accounting software.

- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Experience in processing invoices efficiently and accurately.

- Solid organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
