Senior Accountant

Our client, a private company with approximately $250M in revenue in Westborough, MA, is seeking a Senior Accountant. The company has been in business for 40 years and operates in a recession‑proof industry. The Senior Accountant will implement efficiencies in processes and interact with all levels of staff and management across the organization, adding value and improving accounting processes, controls, and meeting monthly deadlines.

• Account reconciliations
• Bank/cash reconciliations
• Post and review journal entries
• Perform monthly closings
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Maintain Excel summaries and schedules
• Perform related accounting projects

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• 3-7 years of general ledger accounting experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong Excel skills
• Ability to learn new systems quickly
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Team player
