This Staff Accountant role is vital for new accounting graduates to apply their academic knowledge directly, contributing to the firm’s reputation for service excellence by preparing accurate tax returns and growing their confidence within a team-driven environment. This person will prepare accurate tax returns for a variety of individuals and businesses, contributing to high-quality client service. - Tech Stack:

- Tax Preparation:
Work side-by-side with teammates to prepare tax returns for various individuals and businesses. - Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial information and tax documents to identify issues, research tax questions, and connect relevant data. - Knowledge Building:
Build tax knowledge through hands-on experience, ongoing training, and mentorship from experienced tax professionals. - Skill Development:
Develop technical skills using platforms such as Excel, CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement, and other tax software. - Quality Assurance:
Prepare accurate, high-quality work while meeting deadlines and following professional and industry standards.
- Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, suitable for an entry-level position. - Experience:
No specific years required, but readiness to apply academic learning and gain hands-on experience with tax software and financial analysis. - Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, tech‑savvy with tools such as Excel and Word, and a curious, motivated learning approach. - Bonus:
Master’s Degree in Accounting is preferred.
