Position OverviewAs the Commissioning Specialist I, you will work a schedule 8-hour shift at 5 days on 2 days off (M-F). You will be responsible for commissioning and providing support on the controller level of the LG Energy Storage System throughout commissioning period. In addition, this position also interfaces with third-party suppliers of large system components including inverters, transformers, and air conditioning systems.
You will be working hand in hand with said third parties and in some cases, asked to lead.
- Update and install software and settings onto control equipment and switches.
- Test for communication and network connectivity.
- Clear faults/alarms, and diagnose with vendors on troubleshooting steps
- Use software User Interface to charge and discharge batteries.
- Understand and use the LOTO procedures provided.
Skills and Abilities
- Knows how to ping a device and use command prompt,
- Certified in electrical NFPA 70E,
- Has OSHA
10 certification, - Basic understanding of networking and Modbus/dnp3 troubleshooting.
- Familiarity using Procore for documentation and tracking status.
- Associate degree is minimum educational qualification
- Experience having worked on battery projects or solar projects
- Work will be 10 hour days 5-6 days a week with 2 weeks on, and 1 week off rotation cycle.
