Develop engineering packages for protective relaying and communications systems, including AC one-line and three-line diagrams, DC schematics, logic and functional diagrams, panel layouts, interconnections diagrams, relaying equipment specifications and bill of materials; develop SCADA packages, including input/output lists and SCADA setting files; plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects; train project team members including drafters, engineering technicians and junior engineers;

develop and maintain relationships with senior level engineering, management and clients; direct and participate in client meetings including job site visits to collect/deliver design and engineering data, and present technical solutions to customers in responding to technical concerns; perform and ensure company’s quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) processes are followed on all design packages; delegate, plan, prioritize and review the work of other engineers.

Duties require traveling to unanticipated client worksites once per month for one weekday morning to the next weekday morning. Telecommuting on non‑traveling days is permitted.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field such as electronics, industrial or mechanical engineering; foreign degree equivalency accepted.
• 24 months experience in protection and control engineering.
• Traveling to unanticipated clients’ worksites throughout the continental United States once a month from one weekday morning to next weekday morning. Telecommuting on non‑traveling days is permitted.
