This client develops advanced robotics and software solutions to improve customer experiences. The team designs, tests, builds, and deploys robotics and mechatronic systems, focusing on areas such as:

The Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations (RMTO) organization manufactures robotics systems and supports automated solutions. This role focuses on large-scale manufacturing projects and process improvements.
Responsibilities- Support and foster a culture of inclusion.
- Lead process optimization and cost reduction initiatives.
- Create optimized manufacturing and test processes for New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Implement technology and tooling improvements to improve safety, quality, and cost.
- Conduct process reviews, risk assessments, and hazard analyses.
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes for NPI programs.
- Write business and operational plans for capital equipment and infrastructure.
- Travel up to 10% as needed to support projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience and GMP knowledge.
- Strong experience creating optimized manufacturing and test processes for New Product Introduction (NPI). NPI experience is considered extremely important.
- Experience with project management tools.
- Experience in phase-gate processes.
- Strong CAD skills, including AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies such as:
- 8D
- Fishbone/Cause-and-Effect
- CAPA
- Experience with quality and statistical tools:
- PFMEA
- Control charts
- Pareto analysis
- Histograms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- MBA or advanced engineering degree.
- Experience managing accelerated project schedules.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement experience.
- Experience with:
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- ERP systems
- Tool/equipment programming
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with process optimization tools, simulation, mapping, programming, or algorithms.

This is a contract position based out of Westborough, MA.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
