Position Responsibilities:
- Work on combining latest industry technologies/best practices combined with Amazon's performance optimization goals to design new state of the art robotic material handling systems.
- Evaluate and create physical processing and material handling solutions using cutting edge technology, robotics and data analytics to meet the product flow requirements based on Amazon design principles.
- Identify and analyze key operational and financial metrics as part of program and feature selection in order to drive smart decisions.
- Coordinate and collaborate with systems and operations engineering teams to develop product features and optimize the performance of the FCs.
- Manage and support multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and connect and communicate with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
- Develop models as required to solve complex problems.
Position Requirements:
- Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and two years of experience.
- Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) experience using MS Excel, MS Project, and AutoCAD; (2) experience with commercial off-the-shelf technologies including Tableau, SQL, or related; and (3) experience designing automation or robotic systems for high-volume, multi-variable manufacturing or logistics warehouse environments.

40 hours/week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $126,859/year to $160,000/year.
