Ardent Staffing Solutions is seeking a Final Quality Inspector I to inspect product throughout the production assembly process through final system assembly. This role is responsible for verifying workmanship, process compliance, documentation accuracy, and customer requirements while supporting quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to all ESD requirements and board handling procedures.
- Follow Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on component moisture sensitivity levels (MSL).
- Verify product compliance to workmanship standards.
- Verify process compliance to established procedures.
- Verify documentation compliance to document control processes and procedures.
- Verify product compliance to customer requirements.
- Perform first piece inspections of products as required throughout the manufacturing process.
- Perform in-process inspection tasks as required.
- Disposition assemblies for rework and repair.
- Authorize shipment of product that meets industry and customer specifications.
- Support and follow all ISO standards related to the organization’s Quality Management Systems, including quality, environment, health, safety, and security.
- Support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Ability to utilize electronic manufacturing systems, including Epicor.
- Ability to pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification.
- Ability to pass IPC-A-610 Modules 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8.
- High sense of urgency and strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
- Ability to read blueprints, assembly drawings, and customer Bills of Materials.
- Familiarity with first piece, in-process, audit, and final quality control inspection procedures.
- Ability to use inspection gauges and tools such as calipers, rulers, and microscopes.
- Ability to monitor processes, materials, or surroundings effectively.
- Ability to work on single tasks, procedures, and products in highly repetitive or routine duties.
- Ability to support 1–2 product lines or customer accounts.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under close supervision.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0–6 months of previous experience preferred.
- Work is performed in a manufacturing environment.
- Must comply with all workplace safety, quality, environmental, and security requirements.
