Overview
Production Tech II, Robotics Manufacturing & Technical Operations — Amazon Robotics. Responsible for robotics assembly, material handling, and product packaging within the assembly and logistics teams.
Responsibilities- Assemble, fabricate, and/or process materials into complex manufactured products following established procedures.
- Operate general manufacturing tools and follow written or verbal instructions; use knowledge of multiple process paths to determine tasks needed to achieve outcomes.
- Build electro-mechanical units using industry best practices.
- Shipping, receiving, maintaining, tracking, and delivering goods for manufacturing following appropriate protocols.
- Learn systems and tools for material management and coordinate delivery methods with suppliers and customers.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to support on-time delivery.
- Operate Power Industrial Equipment and pallet jacks for loading and unloading trailers.
- Train and mentor team members to support scaling in roles.
- Successfully assemble, fabricate, and/or process materials into complex manufactured products.
- Follow one or more process paths defined by leadership and SOPs.
- Perform procedures and troubleshoot standard tasks; seek guidance when deviating from procedures.
- Use knowledge of multiple process paths to select the appropriate task or procedure.
- Identify training needs and assist in training new hires and junior peers.
- Meet productivity and quality standards by following best practices.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and material flow operations.
- Experience with material management and logistics processes.
The starting pay for this position includes base pay plus applicable shift differentials. Additional earnings may include overtime pay. Final pay is based on shift selection and location.
