We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Technician to support the manufacturing of complex electro-mechanical equipment in a fast-paced production environment. This role involves hands-on assembly, material handling, inventory support, and quality inspections while adhering to established safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electro-mechanical assembly by following assembly instructions, blueprints, specifications, and parts lists.
- Assemble components and subassemblies using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
- Support material handling activities, including staging, moving, and delivering materials to production workstations.
- Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other approved material handling equipment safely.
- Assist with kitting, labeling, and organizing production materials and components.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper documentation, scanning, and system updates.
- Conduct quality inspections and accurately document production and quality records.
- Follow written work instructions and perform data entry in manufacturing systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining production supplies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the work shift.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds safely.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions in English.
- Experience using handheld scanners and computer systems for data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in a mechanical or manufacturing environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience.
- Experience using ERP, MES, or inventory management systems.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of material handling best practices and workplace safety procedures.
- Experience with inventory control, labeling, and production documentation.
